Feb 11, 2004. #6. 16 valve heads tend to have the effect of extending the Torque Curve - i.e. a multi valve engine will manage to produce a certain level of torque over a wider rev range than an 8 valve engine. As someone said "the 8 valve runs out of puff a lot quicker" This is why 16v produce bigger horse power.

Auto se gasio, trzao i morao sam stalno da ga turiram kada nije u brzini da mi se ne ugasi. Zamenio sam pumpu, menja se kroz otvor u gepeku i nije nesto posebno komplikovana operacija ali kosta.

i have found a mk1 16v ecu that i could use fairly cost effective too. which would be better for me to use on this project. car will basically be a stock 1.2 16v running mk1 sporting engine loom. if the immo is off the car will start wont it? which would i be better off getting, virgin or immo off as they describe! the 1.2 8v lump wont go to waste either as it is destined for a seicento!!:idea:
The MK2 donor I have is a 1.2 16v, I mention a 8v simply because I remember Fiat changed the location of the drivers side engine mount between the MK1 and MK2 Punto, and didn't want to be caught out with something similar.
